Ted Hiscock, a Birmingham GP, former Chairman of the “Friends of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery Trust” and cousin of artist Tony Griffin is an accomplished artist in oil, charcoal and water colour.

Ted has dedicated 35 years of his life to medicine during which time he has learned to appreciate the sensitivity and beauty of nature and in particular, the artistic magnificence of the human frame; an appreciation that he has used in his work as an artist.

Having received expert tuition from one of the UK's leading contemporary impressionists David Mynett, Ted has produced works of art to grace homes and galleries in the UK, and around the world.  Ted regularly donates his work to charities, and is committed to attracting a younger audience to all forms of art.
