The impressionists of a century before, such as
Gustave Caillebotte, the original Urban Impressionist, have
contributed to Ted’s inspiration of his Birmingham scenes; although Ted’s style is contemporary and
representational.
Ted’ likes to use a mixture of methods involving a palate
knife and brushes. And although he favours canvas to other
media, he is equally happy working with any of the standard
materials.
